1. I am not related in any way to the Zippo lighter company.
2. I was the first voice of Barney the Dinosaur, when production was just starting.
3. I once broadcasted a radio show live from Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania, Romania.
4. I was a contestant on THE GONG SHOW with Chuck Barris…the singing shark.
5. I had a .45rpm record called “The 400 Mile Gas Line”, that was number one on Dr.Demento’s “Funny Five” countdown.
6. As the morning drive dj in Detroit (WDRQ-FM), my competition was local jock Howard Stern, who I slaughtered in the ratings.
7. I hold the world handshaking record: 8,513 shakes in one day (KFXM, San Bernardino, Ca. ’76).
8. I am married to a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader (the lovely Lori Zippo) and our 20th anniversary is coming Jan.11th, 2012. We have 3 fantastic kids together.
9. In the US Air Force, I learned Russian, Chinese, Morse code, and was trained to type 70 words a minute.
10. I had a Top Secret clearance in the USAF Security Service, and analyzed sensitive (potential terrorist) communications worldwide.
11. I have a First Class FCC Radiotelephone License with a Radar endorsement.
12. I starred in 3 High School Plays at Rim of the World High School, and won 3 Best Actor Awards.

14. At one time I had a pet kangaroo named Rocky.
15. I am in the witness protection program. The cops relocated me and changed my name to Jim Zippo to protect my true identity: Jimmy Hoffa.
